Tyndale Thomas M.B.E.
Singer, Choir Leader, Composer And British Gospel Driving Force

Performing and producing
Tyndale has been working in the music industry since the late 70s as a performer,
Multi-instrumentalist songwriter, arranger and mentor. 
He has created and performed Gospel/inspirational music throughout the UK, Europe and
America. A co-founding member of one of the first contemporary Gospel groups
and choirs, The Challengers and The Merry Bell Gospel Choir he wrote, produced
and arranged material for numerous tours.
Tyndale has supported and performed with nationally and internationally
acclaimed artists Such as Stevie Wonder, Nina Simone, Rick Wakeman and gospel
legends Andre Crouch, Richard Smallwood, The Clarke Sisters, Edwin Hawkins,
Jesse Dixon and Mighty Clouds of Joy. 
Tyndale has contributed greatly to the development and integration of Gospel
music with other world music and the secular music industry, writing songs for
Cleopatra, and vocal arrangements for Howard Jones. Tyndale has continued to build
on his reputation as an ambassador for Gospel and inspirational music in this
country and abroad, by initializing new working techniques, delivering music,
singing and song-writing workshops and seminars to people of all ages and from a
diversity of cultures and abilities.

Writing and Arranging
Tyndale is a prolific song writer and arranger and is regarded highly by Music Services
throughout the country, nationally and internationally. He has a unique understanding of a
diversity of music styles which are reflected in the work that he creates. Tyndale has continued to build on his reputation as an ambassador for Gospel and inspirational music in this country and abroad, by initializing new working techniques, delivering music, singing and song writing workshops and seminars to people of all ages and from a diversity of cultures and abilities. In
June 2008 Tyndale was awarded the MBE for his contribution in promoting
Gospel and World music.
